How do I know if my asphalt shingle roof needs replacement?
If you know your asphalt shingle roof is over 20 to 25 years old it likely needs replacement. Look for signs such as shingles sparkling in the sun due to granular loss, warped or curled shingles, missing shingles or signs of leakage such as stained ceilings or rotted wood around the eaves of the roof.
How long does a full roof replacement typically take?
A full roof replacement on a typical residential home usually takes between 2-4 days, but can vary due to size of the roof, steepness of the roof, how much detail the roof has or if there is dry rotted wood that needs replacement.
Do we offer any type of warranty?
Yes, we typically offer a 10 year leak warranty on most full replacements that covers any leaks due to faulty workmanship and you would also have a manufacturer's warranty that covers defects of the product itself.
How much experience do we have?
The owner of the company has been in the roofing trade since 1994 and started American Quality Roofing in Feb. of 2008. All of our employees are journey level roofers or are working directly with a Journey level roofer on every project. Every project is also quality checked on at certain points by the owner of the company.
Are you licensed and properly insured?
Yes, we are licensed by the Ca. contractors state license board, various cities that we work in and carry Workers comp., general liability and a contractors bond so you can rest easy knowing that you are fully covered.

Anthony gave me a quote and stuck to it. Yes there were some charges for rotted damaged wood but that was brought up in the beginning. No surprises finished on schedule. He gave me a deduct because his bid was for removing two layers of existing roofing. Turns out it was only one layer and gave me a credit. Others quoted a much higher price. Happy with the job and cost.
